SEO Tactics: Blog Commenting and Nofollow tags

Many blog owners remove comments which simply say “great blog” because the comments are not contributing to the conversation and they suspect the comment writers are just trying to get link juice back to their own website. While it may be true that some spammers are still using this SEO tactic, most blogs these days have nofollow tags that tell search engine bots to ignore the link for page ranking purposes.
